Her story
Dr. Ketly Jean-Pierre is a computer scientist, educator, and the founder of Innovators Academy Junior. She earned her Ph.D. and Master of Computer Science at Howard University — along with graduate certificates in Computer Security and Faculty Preparation — and her B.S. in Computer Information Systems at Florida A&M University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
She started Innovators Academy Junior in Oakland Park, Florida with one belief: every child can build real things with technology. In small groups, she teaches coding, robotics, and AI to kids ages 5–17 — meeting each learner exactly where they are.
Her mission is simple — help every child think like a scientist: ask questions, experiment, and create. From a first light-up circuit to a first line of code, she's there to guide the way.
